About
Alexis Andrus writes warm, whimsical cozy fantasy filled with magical creatures, found family, gentle mystery, and places that feel like home. Drawn to stories about ordinary people facing extraordinary problems with patience, humor, and kindness, Alexis enjoys creating worlds where community matters as much as magic. When not imagining misty hillsides, enchanted animals, and quietly stubborn heroines, Alexis can usually be found collecting story ideas, enjoying a good cup of tea, or wondering what sort of magic might be hiding in everyday places. The Shepherdess of Small Storms is the first book in The Small Storms Sanctuary series.
