Ruth Callander is the pen name of a registered nurse and nursing instructor. She has spent her career teaching the material at the center of her books: how a body signals distress, how medicine treats (or harms) and how a chart notates it. Mother's Orders is her upcoming book exploring true crimes that upset two communities and changed the lives of the two children involved forever.
